As the final stop on the Bubble Release Tour, we went to Norway this past weekend. It was a wonderful couple of days starting out with breakfast in the tour bus, sunny weather and Bob Marley on the stereo. After a long drive our norwegian friend Asgaut Bakken welcomed us at Riksscenen in Oslo. Great place and great people! We played a double concert with the good sounding norwegian hit band Valkyrien Allstars followed by a backstage party soaked i port and Ringnes beer! Saturday we went to the beautiful city of Bø in the Telemarken area south west of Oslo. We didn’t know what to expect, but was take by surprise as we nearly had full house there! A bit sad that we had to go back to Oslo the same night, but hopefully we’ll get the chance to come back to Bø next year. The weekend in Norway leaves with both a happy and a sad feeling. Happy because the whole release tour starting in the end February went so well, and sad because it’s over. Then again, this gives us time to recover and get ready for the summer festivals in the Faroe Islands, Czech Republique, Germany and Sweden. We didn’t know what to expect, but it really turned out to be a great night in Malmö yesterday! Located in the center of Malmö in Sweden, is the old beautiful cinema Palladium taken into use back in 1920 showing movies until 1996. Today it’s an important music venue for the whole Skåne area and with the beautiful hall, the good vibes and the wonderful people working we had the odds on our side for a great concert yesterday. And so we did! The crowd was very pleased, we played well and everyone was singing along. That’s the way to spend a Wednesday night! Thank You Malmö! www.palladium.nu
